Spanish Spirals


I came across another great recipe blog a bit ago called Delicious Dishes. I made their Spanish Spirals for dinner and it was so easy to make and we all loved it. My daughter even asked for leftovers for lunch the next day which NEVER happens!

Spanish Spirals

1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained (I used tomatoes w/green chilies & onions)
2 cups uncooked rotini
2 tsp salt
1 tsp chili powder
¼ tsp garlic powder

In a skillet, cook the beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the tomatoes, rotini, salt, sugar, chili powder, and garlic powder. Bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 25-30 minutes or until rotini is tender.

Serves 4-6
