Ground Beef Pizza Fondue

Those that know me know that I find it hard to resist a recipe swap!! In the latest one on the Scrapbook board, we are swapping Slow Cooker recipes. I have done several of these in the past and was searching for new recipes to try...well I happened to find the latest Fix It and Forget It Big Cookbook at my local library and I quickly grabbed it up and brought it home, drooled over the pages as I read recipe after recipe...I quickly bookmarked this one and tried it out last weekend. I loved it!! My hubby said it was ok! My 7 yr old ate it without complaint...the 4 yr old wouldn't try it...he wanted pizza....real pizza...lol!!

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
2 cans pizza sauce with cheese
8 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp fennel seed, optional
1 tbsp cornstarch

Brown ground beed, crumble fine and drain. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover. Heat on Low 2-3 hours. Serve with tortilla chips.

This would be great for a party appetizer. It worked as a Friday night meal for us too!!

This sounds so good, Eryn, and super convenient for a Friday when I can actually participate in Fun Friday! :)
